A special source told Naher Media Network that The Security of the Fourth Division of Assad’s forces today subjected several warplanes at the Deir Ezzor military airport to a process of pressing and turning them into scrap.
According to the source, the squashed planes were broken down or damaged during the siege of Deir ez-Zor Military Airport, so they were converted into raw materials and scrap and transported outside the airport by trucks towards Homs governorate.
Deir ez-Zor military airport was subjected to heavy bombardment in previous years by the Free Army factions, during their siege of the airport from 2012 to late 2014.
