Naher Media Network is informed by a private source that a serious disease has spread in the most famous Syrian prison in Homs.
The source said that a serious disease had recently spread in the third military prison in Homs, known as (Al-Baloni Prison). According to the source, at least two prisoners died in the past few days due to tuberculosis, and dozens of patients were recorded.
The source pointed out that the administration of Al-Baluni Prison evacuated the dormitory (15) on the third floor of the prison building, and transferred prisoners to the dormitory (17) due to the outbreak of disease among the prisoners of the dormitory (15).
The same source indicated that the majority of tuberculosis patients who were registered are prisoners who were transferred from Sednaya prison in earlier times, which indicates an outbreak of the disease inside it as well.
It should be noted that the prison administration and the Assad regime are largely silent about the spread of tuberculosis inside prisons, and they are trying in every way to keep the matter secret, especially with the news of the spread of cholera in the regime-controlled areas.
